Welcome to St Mary Star of the Sea, Carnarvon

“In partnership with the home, parish and community we nurture the development of the whole child”

“The Director General of the Department of Education is responsible for ensuring that the school observes the registration standards, including the standard about its complaints handling system. Any student, parent or community member is entitled to contact the Director General with concerns about how the school has dealt with a complaint. Information is available on the Department of Education website. While the Director General may consider whether the school has breached the registration standards, she does not have power to intervene in a complaint or override the school’s decision.”

We’re excited to announce that our newsletters are getting a makeover! Stay tuned for the launch of our refreshed design. In the meantime, don’t miss our weekly brief overview of events.

Brief Overview of the week,
Term 4, Week 1

"To Jesus Through Mary" is not only our college motto but also describes the College "role models", Jesus and his mother Mary.

Our caring staff are committed to the development of each child including their spiritual, academic, emotional, social, and physical aspects. When students wear the correct uniform, this lays the foundation for positive behaviour in following College rules so that each student is both supported and challenged to strive for success in expressing their own skills and talents.

Soctober Week Term 4, Week 3

Mission month is a time to donate to those who are in vulnerable financial positions.

Each donation throughout the week will go to Mission Australia to raise awareness and critical funds for mission programs supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds around the world.

Join in on the fun and wear crazy socks on Wednesday, 24th of October where a sock parade will commence and two winners (one of primary and one from secondary) will be announced.
